The 40km Project – Part II

This entry is part 2 of 16 in the series The 40km Project
TT Bars

TT Cockpit

Another week, another piece of the TT bike puzzle.  The cockpit for the new TT bike is taking shape thanks to my great friend Shawn.  My Christmas present from Shawn was this set of Easton Delta Force base bars, Profile Designs T2+ aero bars, and Profile Designs Quick Stop 2 brake levers!  I’ve yet to figure out what stem I’ll be using, but will see how the fit shapes up once I’m closer to assembly.

My back is acting up again after last fall’s cyclocross injury.  After the joy of my first outdoor ride of the year, I woke up with a sore back again.  It’s been hurting ever since, and a quick visit to the doctor yesterday has me trying to book some physio time.  Hopefully I get scheduled in soon to get it taken care of!  At this point, time in the saddle is much too low for my liking…
