Never Underestimate the Humble Spatial Index
This is more a reminder to myself than anything else, but will be a good reminder for everyone out there in OSGEO land.
When performing any geoprocessing task in QGIS, don’t forget to build a spatial index first. It really does help! Save the hours of frustration and waiting by clicking that one little button! Come’on…you know you want to!
Build that Spatial Index!
